Hi,

I sold around 10 of these laptops and one person complained that it DOES NOT have Bluetooth and Lightscribe DVD Burner.

He filed a dispute with Paypay and I need your opinion on this.

Please look at this listing:
http://cgi.eBay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=150274363569

When looking at the listing, do you expect the laptop to have bluetooth and lightscribe?

Or more importantly, should anyone expect it?

Please provide your honest opinion.

Best Regards
-Tim

Didn't see bluetooth in description so you should be ok. Then again paypal and eBay are greedy and unjust entities so you might be screwed.

This is a blessing and a curse. You will probably win the SNAD dispute ... but you'll get a negative.

Why would your buyer assume it came with bluetooth? Sounds like you have one stupid buyer (and 9 good ones).

Good luck with paypal!.

ETA - I didn't noticed you'd used the LightScribe and Bluetooth logos - I only read the words. You're in the wrong and your buyer is right to be annoyed.

This was a very poor ad since you used both the Lightscribe and Bluetooth logos in the description. Why'd you do this??? (it's like using the Intel Inside logo and then saying the CPU is AMD or including a Vista logo and saying the OS is Linux)!!)

Ads that are misleading or ambiguous usually get ruled in favor of what's most advantageous to the buyer so I'm betting you'll loose the SNAD.

I suggest that you delete any reference to Bluetooth and Lightscribe on systems that don't have these features.

I noticed the same thing..You don't make reference to those, but the logos are misleading.

Completely misleading and unacceptable.

I thought it would include with the logos as well.

Well, the OP's name sure is fitting....your ad was misleading and you will lose.

I have to agree too. If I saw those logos, as a buyer, I'd also assume that it had Bluetooth and Lightscribe.

I agree that the logos are misleading. However, I don't believe a tech-savvy buyer (who else would know what LightScribe is?) would have a reason to assume from the description that the laptop actually had a lightscribe drive. In the worst case, if I had doubts, I would email the seller and ask.

That said, what exactly does this mean as far as the auction is concerned: "2.0 Ghz x 2 = 4.0 Ghz" ?

Yeah, I'd try to work it out with buyer ASAP before you lost this SNAD

I would expect both of those things since by virtue of the logos, they are in the description.

I hope it works for him. This feedback rating is almost impossible to work with. I am surprised eBay didn't catch it and shut the auction down. I tried to sneek in Google payment form in my description for about 8 items out of 1200 I have listed and they shut them down within 5 days.

if i would be a buyer of this auction... i would expect both of these items on my laptop... NEVER put stuff like this in the description unless its included... basically you are asking for a SNAD
