Tax Negotiation Companies Review Archived From: Deal Discussion

I keep watching these companies advertising that I can get rid of my tax debt for pennies on the dollar. Did anyone really got their IRS taxes off their back with any of these companies? Or is it a scam ?

I am concerned as they charge over $5000 with very bad reviews from the BBB better business bureau.

Please let me know what's your experience with any of these tax negotiation companies:

J.K. Harris is really bad. Just google J.K. Harris + scam and check out ripoffreport about it. Apparently they charge people a hefty fee and then proceed to do nothing. They just had a big class action lawsuit against them. Would like to know if anyone knows a reputable firm for negotiating O.I.C.s (Offer In Compromise)?
