So there's this new chicken sandwhich that McDonald's released that a lot of people seem to be jacking off to.

It's received some hype, so I got a coupon for a free one and tried it out.

VERDICT: SOLID MEH... actually, scratch that, MEH+ (that mean's it's slightly better than "meh")

I get the sandwhich I open it up, and it's just chicken and two pickles. So I'm thinking, sh!t, is this chicken is so good it doesn't need ANYTHING ELSE? I take a big healthy bite making sure to get some pickle in my mouth too. Instantly, I realize that the chicken is really juicy and flavorful - but to limit the sandwhich to 1 topping seems like it's holding the sandwhich back from it's true potential. I can see why they may have done this (reason being as not to have any other flavors distract from the delicious chicken), but still... If I pay a little over 3 dollars, I feel like I'm getting robbed.

Overall, well worth a try. Maybe if simplicity is your thing, you'll like it more than I did. Definately a good sandwhich, but I guess ideally, it'd receive a higher rating (like YumYumInMyTum++) from me if the price point was around 1.50ish maybe 2.00ish.

Wow, that's a very detailed (and funny!) review. I want to try it now.

Was that juice from the chicken or was it oil dripping from the fried chicken? I thought it was rather tasteless what with all that oil and all and I intend to avoid it in the future.

they were okay.. I got a bunch of them for free. I wouldn't have tried it if it wasn't free.

I had a free one, I was less than impressed. The "buttered" bun was gross, it made eating it in the car difficult (imagine spreading that stuff onto the wheel, radio nobs, etc.)
