i just got myself an ipod nano. i have a van with cd player/gps navigation console built into it. i see no auxiliary connection on the cd player panel. there is no cassette player in my van. is it possible to connect the nano to my van speakers? any recommendations?

i have one a/v input provided at the rear seat to be able to connect a a/v equipment to the built-in dvd player. this way i can plug in an extra dvd player or any other a/v player but i will not be able to operate the nano if its at the back.

any suggestions will be appreciated. thanx

Have you tried using an FM transmitter? It's not the best option, but maybe the only one you have.

You could also possibly hardwire it to the player. vehicle is different, so you may need to Google your make/model/year and ipod to see what is out there.

You do not need a lot of tech knowledge to do it, but it costs more.

If you do not wish to spend the money, use the transmitter. Keep your receipt. Some work better in some areas than others. Also, you could be lucky witha cheap one, but generally in this area, you get what you pay for.

what kind of car? My honda had an ipod cable available to hook to and use the steering wheel controls to change songs on the ipod.

very cool, until my wife found out that i paid 300 bucks for it.

not very cool

does the sterio have an aux? there may be a way that it can hook into the back.

if you use an fm transmitter, prepare to have quality equal to radio. it will not be the clear knock your socks off like a regular mp3
