I did this last time i was in Vegas, went to Wynn singed up for their card and just started playing the Video Roulette.

Bet $1 on Black $1 on Red..... and hope the 0 don't show up. You are gone win $2 unless the 0 comes up, in which you are out of $2.

Keep playing till u get enough point for a free BUFFET. I think the first buffet at Wynn is easy to get and it is also buy 1 get 1 free coupon.

You can also try to make this done faster if you risk more money lets say $10 on Red and $10 on Black. But its your call. If the 0 hits than you lose $20.

This was also tried and worked at the Planet Hollywood for $15 off spice market buffet.

This applies only to new members as they get "intro" benefit.

not a bad idea if you're just after the comp points.

or if you just like the atmosphere at the casino and want to get something out of it...without much risk...

it's a good idea...great way to get free rooms, etc

You forgot the 00, so you have a 5.26% chance of losing on every spin of the wheel. In the long term, for every 100 spins, you'll lose, on average, $10.53 with absloutely no chance of winning anything except maybe a free buffet. Seems like you are wasting time and money just for a free buffett.

Video ones did not have 00

also it fun to play because the minimum is 25 cents

nice tip --- good to have ways to kill time without killing too much money

also --- if you happen to go on a roll and let your dollar ride 6 times --- you will have $64 --- and only 4 more times after that --- you will have $1k

don't know how point accumulation works, but wouldn't it be better to bet on all of the thirds? bet 3 dollars, win 3 unless it's 0.

that would be faster....

but the same idea...

with it being a Eurpoean (single zero) wheel, you're only losing ~5 cents on the dollar on average...and perhaps not even that

Was at the Wynn several times, even stayed there, did not see the video roulette there. Perhaps i wasnt looking hard enough?

Is this a roulette machine with a "video" representation of the wheel or is it an actual wheel in the middle with 10-15 screens around the outside, and an actual dealer monitoring gameplay?

I haven't seen this at the Wynn either...

Eve6MediaHQ said:Pretty lame if you are going to Vegas and playing video roulette just to get free buffets. JMOYes it's lame...but the benefits are there. However, not only do you get free meals, but free room and dining offers come in the mail as well. If you don't pay for the hotel rooms upfront as I did, I believe you can ask the casino host to review your players card activity and possibly get a nice discount on your bill before checkout.**

I don't play the $1 B/$1 R (but not a bad idea!!). I played a variation where the coin in was $13 a spin. That racked up $3,039 coin-in's in less than an hour (just got my win/loss statement from the casino).

Also play on multiple points days and meals are more than paid up with an hour of play. That's all on a shoestring bankroll of less than $100.

** that's what I read somewhere, never tried it. And not always do you play where you stay, so counting on a room discount for your play is nebulous. I found Video Roulette machines in Vegas at El Cortez, Orleans, Gold Coast, and Vegas Club, also Sam's Town has some I heard but husband was down with norovirus so we walked back out the minute we got there. I also like the group roulette machines at Indian casinos...they're fun!

As to how lame this all is...I do it for the sport like tweaking the miles and coupons that got us there in the first place Just a nice break from real life haha The only downside is my husband tells me I'm wasting my time...and worst of all thinks I'm losing more than I am.

Sorry for the rambling...but the frequent cheap Vegas trips*** we take has turned me into a Vegas tweaking junkie. Again, this is all for fun but maybe is really a sickness...

*** last year one of the trips we took from Hawaii to Vegas for 4 days cost a total of $110 per person, airfare, hotel and rental car. On another trip last year from Hawaii to SFO/Reno for 10 days, total cost was $225 per person, all included. Of course both trips used Delta skymiles. And meals were the big score, all you can eat for the entire trip pretty much and costing no more than our home food budget. So far the tally for 78 hotel nights these past few years, including gambling budget though not food, is $784 per person/per trip. Just thought I'd share how much tweaking provides. Husband is just along for the ride.

Being we live so far from the casinos, I'm not able to take them up on their free room offers that come by mail, but I might call the casino host before future bookings and ask if I can get a free room then. Maybe I should call before the offer ends...

actually ... despite what they want you to think ... going to Vegas is pretty lame...

but if you are there and you enjoy nickle and diming them --- why not? better than throwing your money away

That's more a matter of personal taste...I personally like vegas...

places I think are lame you may not...places I like you might think would be lame...

as for nickle and diming them...sure..why not? Isn't that what this site is all about really? Getting the most for your money?

... you were the one that brought up lame

sure Vegas can be entertaining for a couple days ... but going there to feel rich (which is what they are selling) ... when you are in one big craphole in the desert is completely lame

At the Wynn its on the outer rim of the casino floor, closest to where the restrooms are. Also this is where those waitress come out with their drinks.

@ Planet Hollywood its down to as low as 25 cent per roll

I have seen this Single Video Roulette at PH, Wynn, Las Vegas Hilton (we stayed here), and my my favorite place of all Treasure Island (by playing here broke even with all the loses in Vegas

The way i see it that i would have not eaten at those high price buffet just to find out that the Vegetarian people in my party can't find anything to eat. So this was the mean of getting those buffet for free.

And we aren't high rollers, the entertainment part is there plus its plays much faster than those real Roulette

I'm staying at the Wynn this weekend. How long would I have to do this to get a free room (how many credits)? I'll be gambling too so I will probably rack up quite a bit of legitimate game play but would use this to cinch the comp...
